Parents Helpline supports thousands of families throughout Northern Ireland each year. This service is regional and is operated from two branch offices, South & East based in Belfast and North & West based in Derry and 6 outreach sites across Northern Ireland.
Parents Helpline offers support on all types of family problems. These range from coping with crying babies, through to dealing with behaviour problems, bullying, drugs, the effect of separation and divorce, a child's sexuality or abuse. Any family member can call Parents Helpline.
All of the Parents Helpline Volunteers are either parents themselves or have substantial experience of working with families and therefore understand how stressful it can be to raise children and young people in today's society.
