How can it help me?
When you contact Parents Advice Centre's (PAC) Helpline, the Volunteer will listen to you carefully, and encourage you to talk about your concerns. Sometimes just telling someone about your difficulty can be a relief, and is an important first step towards dealing with your worry.
The Helpline Volunteer will be able to suggest ways of dealing with the issue. They will also be able to provide you with information on help and support that is available from both PAC and other organisations.
PAC subscribes to the Language Line Telephone Interpretation Service. This service provides access to a range of professional, qualified, telephone interpreters who can speak 150 languages. If you require this service, please ...
- Call our Freephone Helpline at: 0808 8010 722
- Inform the person who answers that you require Language Line interpretation services
- State which language you speak
- Give your name, and a telephone number that you can be phoned back on
We realise that this system requires you to speak at least a small amount of English. However, we believe that the support that we can provide will be worth the effort!
