What is Parents Helpline?

Parents Helpline offers a freephone helpline and appointment service to families facing a range of difficulties. This service provides a non-judgemental listening ear to callers who may be distressed or worried about a family issue, or just need someone to talk to.

Callers can seek support, guidance and information from Parents Helpline on all types of issues including: bullying, behavioural problems, crying babies, drugs, the effect of separation and divorce, or aggression.

Since 1979, Parents Helpline has provided support to thousands of families each year. Our staff team, who work alongside over 40 Parents Helpline Volunteers, across 2 branches and 6 outreach sites, is also equipped to respond to enquiries from professionals and other organisations on a wide range of parenting and family issues.
