What is the PAC Helpline?

Parents Advice Centre (PAC) offers a Freephone Helpline and Appointment service to families facing a range of difficulties. This service provides a non-judgemental listening ear to callers who may be distressed or worried about a family issue, or just need someone to talk to.

Callers can seek help and guidance on all types of issues including: bullying, behavioural problems, crying babies, drugs, the effect of separation and divorce, aggression, or coping with the fact that their child is gay, lesbian or bisexual.

Since 1979, the PAC Helpline has provided support to thousands of families each year. Our staff team, which works alongside over 60 Helpline Volunteers in four branches throughout Northern Ireland, is also equipped to respond to enquiries from professionals and other organisations on a wide range of parenting and family issues.
