Parents Advice Centre (PAC) launched The Men's Project (TMP) in September 1998.  TMP has a regional remit to increase awareness of the issues facing men and boys (especially within families) in the north of Ireland and to promote their social inclusion by ...

• researching local needs and issues
• producing, collating and disseminating resources
• initiating and supporting practical projects
• creating and sustaining networks, and promoting cooperative activity
• signposting individuals and professionals to sources of support and information
• lobbying decision-makers and influencing public opinion
• recommending positive strategies for future development
