Vision
The Parenting Forum Northern Ireland's vision of society is one where parents and parenting are highly valued.
Mission
To share information, and to promote education, support and advocacy in the best interests of parents and children.
Aims
PFNI has three core aims:
- To raise awareness of the importance of parenting and its impact upon the holistic development of children throughout their lives and life stages.
- To listen to the needs and aspirations of parents, and to work towards ensuring that this informs policy, practice and public opinion.
- To create a network of those working in and concerned with parenting support and education, in order to share information, experience and good practice.
Value Base
PFNI's value base is one of equality, empowerment, acceptance of diversity, and respect for individuals.
