Setting Up A Parent Council In your School - Free Training!!!

One day workshop for teachers, governors, parents and extended schools co-ordinators. Would your school like help with setting up a parent council, parent forum or parent class meetings? Would you like to explore ways to create genuine partnership with parents in your school? Parent Councils is an innovative initiative (coordinated by the Parenting Forum NI), which offers a free one day of training, support, reflection and practical action to organisations that are currently trying to, or wishing to, engage with parents within their school setting. We are currently recruiting for six one day events (9.30am-4.30pm) which will happen across Northern Ireland (Ballymena, Belfast, Cookstown, Enniskillen, L'Derry, Newry) beginning in February 2010.
