Knowing Families: how well do you know yours?

The 11th annual Parents' Week will take place from Monday 18th to Sunday 24th October 2010.  This year the theme is "Knowing Families: how well do you know yours?" and we are confident we will build on the success of last year when around 180 events took place across Northern Ireland.

The Week will be

Registration for Parents’ Week supporters is now open.  Registering couldn’t be simpler – just go to www.familyandparenting.org/pw2010 and follow the instructions.  Registering for Parents’ Week will not only ensure that you receive a supporter’s pack with a limited edition Knowing Families book, but will also give you access to event ideas and a media pack as well as other resources to help your Parents’ Week be the most successful yet.

We have also set up a new Yahoo Group where you can download forms to register your event, register for the PFNI conference, apply for membership or simply pose a question to us or other members of the Group. The Group home page can be found at: http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/pfniparentsweek2010 

Most importantly, remember to record your Parents’ Week event on the Events Sheet and return to Sandra at the Parenting Forum NI to enable us to help raise awareness of it on our website and help make Parents' Week a special time.
